Augmentix XTG630 First Fully-Rugged Notebook Based on Dell’s Latitude Platform

Offering the latest Intel and new DirectVue LCD technologies, the XTG provides military, industrial, government and commercial customers with a military-standard, mission-critical mobile computing system based on the award-winning Dell Latitude mobile platform. The new Augmentix XTG 630 comes equipped with a choice of Intel’s latest Core 2 Duo processors, integrated Intel GMA X31000 graphics, 802.11a/g/n Wi-Fi, mobile broadband (either EV-DO Rev. A or HSDPA), 1GB of RAM (expandable to 4GB), 1.8″ rugged, SATA shock mounted, User Removable HDD Bay – 80GB Solid State Drive, and the industry’s first 14.1-inch (1280×800) widescreen DirectVue LCD that improves visibility in direct sunlight.

Independently tested to operate in extreme conditions, patent-pending design features include Augmentix’s Armored Protection System (APS) and QuadCool thermal management system.
