Canon U.S.A. today introduced the latest addition to its award-winning imageFORMULA lineup, the Canon DR-M140 Document Scanner. The performance-driven DR-M140 scanner can process up to 6,000 scanned documents per day. The scanner maintains speeds up to 40 pages-per-minute1 /80 images per minute in all modes, including color, and holds up to 50 sheets in the Automatic Document Feeder. For convenience, the Canon DR-M140 has front loading and front eject that allows users to easily scan documents without a lengthy tray. The scanner also incorporates a control panel that enables easy access to pre-programmed scanning tasks, and a Double Feed Release button on the scanner body to allow users to handle special documents such as envelopes.

In a compact package, the Canon DR-140 scanner incorporates advanced capabilities to address widespread needs, such as its two feeding paths. The default U-turn path is used for typical jobs, while the straight path can be selected to handle items such as thick or thin documents, long documents, and embossed plastic cards.
