NTT DoCoMo announced today that it will offer a localized version of its d game- Japanese gaming service in China via the Mobile Market portal operated by China Mobile, China’s leading mobile operator with over 700 million subscribers, beginning March 26. This will be the first time for DoCoMo to offer its d game mobile content service under the DoCoMo brand outside of Japan. DoCoMo aims to capitalize on the rapidly growing demand for smartphone content in China by offering an increasing variety of localized games and various contents selected for the Chinese market. Mobile Market is China’s leading portal for retail applications.
