Geanne Japan unveils palm size DLP projector MPJ-50 for iPod / iPad and iPhone

Geanne from Japan today announced the launch of palm size DLP projector MPJ-50. The DLP projector MPJ-50 was awarded the Good Design award 2012. Video and still images can be projected from iPod / iPad and (except iPhone 5) iPhone with a dedicated cable. In addition 640 × 480 pixels videos can be viewed up to 1080p. Light source is RGB LED, brightness up to 50 lumens, contrast ratio of 800:1. Brilliant Color technology is adopted for bright, sharp projection. Projection distance is about 0.3 ~ 3m. For a 30-inch screen size the projection distance is about 1m. The projector comes with a built-in mono speaker with 0.5W output.


The palm size DLP projector MPJ-50 can be used continuously for 90 minutes with the fully charged built in (800mAh) Rechargeable lithium ion battery. Charging time is about 2 hours. Geanne palm size DLP projector MPJ-50 measures approximately 60 × 77 × 11.1mm and weigh a mere 65g. The projector will be launched in Japan on December 1 for approximately 19,800 yen ($). Standard accessories include a micro-USB cable and tripod.
