  • cell charger explodes Unauthorized Chinese charger for iPhone explodesA 29-year-old man identified only by his family name Lee, from Simgokbon-dong, Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province,South Korea reported that his unauthorized iPhone charger exploded. Fortunately, the explosion did not lead to a fire. A small firm imported the unauthorized charger from China. Lee lodged a protest with the importer and the company agreed to refund or swap the damaged charger for other goods.


    Lee complained that if the explosion damaged his iPhone, the situation would have been more serious. A company spokesman said company employees should have conducted a checkup of all of the products one by one.
