PURE DIGITAL EVOKE-1S DAB DIGITAL RADIO

Pure Digital EVOKE-1S is the third generation of the iconic EVOKES family of DAB digital radios, and delivers a host of new features and improvements over its predecessors. EVOKE-1S is truly portable with the addition of support for ChargePAK; the optional ChargePAK gives the user up to 24 hours of portable listening between charges. Text SCAN and Intellitext have been added so that scrolling text can be paused and controlled as well as stored for browsing at a later date. Other new features include: a graphical OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) display, providing crystal-clear readability from any angle; a light sensor which automatically adjusts display brightness; more station presets (30 DAB or FM in a convenient combined list); an auxiliary input to connect an iPod or MiniDisc player; and FM with RDS for maximum station choice. The real wood veneer casework that encapsulates the EVOKE’s iconic design has been subtly enhanced with a new grill, larger, easier-to-see buttons and metalized knobs.

Pure Digital EVOKE-1S is the second member of the EcoPlus range from PURE, following the recently released Siesta, and has been designed to minimize environmental impact, with a standby power consumption of less than 1W, support for a rechargeable ChargePAK battery, packaging made from a minimum of 70% recycled material. Pure Digital EVOKE-1S is available in real maple or cherry veneer and will be available for approximately £99.99 ($203) in September.
