ADATA unveils world’s smallest external SSD with a reversible USB Type-C connector – SE730
ADATA today unveiled three SSDs compatible with Windows, Mac OS, and Android- the SE730, SC660, and SV620 external. The SE730 is world’s smallest external SSD (250GB) with a reversible USB Type-C connector. The SE730 packs read/write performance up to 500MB/s (a 5GB file, which is a typical full HD movie, takes just 16 sec to transfer) in a super-compact form factor that weighs a mere 33g.
With its sandblasted metallic enclosure and robust build, SE730 meets IP68 water and dust proof requirements and military-spec shock proofing for peace of mind. Light and compact, it easily fits in one hand and is effortless to carry whether you’re working, traveling, gaming, or otherwise enjoying life. The SE730 offers the ultimate in external SSD style, performance, and mobility, weighing less than a golf ball and fitting easily in the palm of a hand.
The ADATA SC660 boasts a shock resistant build and runs at up to 410MB/s (read/write). Its stylish, super-slim metallic enclosure is just 9.6mm thick. The shock resistant SV620 delivers identical performance, wrapped in an enclosure with raised edges to protect surfaces against scratching. It features a bright blue LED activity indicator to keep users always informed. The SE730 and SV620 (available in 240GB and 480GB ) are available from today while the SC660 will release in August. All SSDs are backed by a 3-year warranty.
