Asus today announced the Designo MX27AQ, a WQHD monitor with embedded ICE power, Bang & Olufsen technology for premium audio quality. The Asus MX27AQ represents the new generation of Asus Designo Series monitors, featuring an elegant iF Award-winning design with an edge-to-edge frameless panel, ultra-slim profile, and sundial-inspired base. Designo MX27AQ has a 27-inch 2560 x 1440 WQHD display which provides up to 25% sharper, detailed images and 77% more onscreen space than similarly-sized Full HD displays. Asus MX27AQ features an advanced high performance in-plane switching (AH-IPS) panel that gives an impressive 100,000,000:1 contrast ratio and 100% sRGB color space for realistic visuals, as well as 178-degree wide viewing angles to eliminate color shift when viewed from extreme angles.
Designo MX27AQ features Asus SonicMaster audio technology, incorporating ICEpower, Bang & Olufsen technology. SonicMaster refines every acoustic detail to deliver crystal-clear sound with richer, more distinct vocals and a wider frequency range. MX27AQ has an embedded ICEpower, Bang & Olufsen technology MobileSound 3 chip and ASUS SonicMaster technology to deliver incredible home theater-quality audio through its two built-in 3W stereo speakers.
Designo MX27AQ has an ultra-slim profile that measures just 1.25cm at its thinnest point – this space-saving design makes it ideal for any living or office space. It has an edge-to-edge frameless panel with a bezel thickness of just 0.1cm. Asus Designo MX27AQ comes with the Asus Blue Light Filter to shield users from harmful blue light. These filter settings can be easily access through the new OSD menu. Asus Designo MX27AQ gives users unrivaled compatibility with most multimedia devices, with a variety of video input options including DisplayPort 1.2, dual HDMI ports and a HDMI / MHL 2.0 port.
