The Asus GNT features embedded energy conservation through link down and cable length detection. With link down detection, the RT-N15 detects when a computer is turned off in the network, and responds accordingly by powering down that port into standby mode to reduce power used for that port.

Full Device Compatibility with WiFi 802.11 b/g/n

Easily Setup Secure Networks with ASUS EZConfig
Comprising of EZSetup and Windows Connect Now (WCN), users can easily setup a protected WiFi network within minutes. All the user has to do is to connect the RT-N15, push the WiFi Protected Setup (WPS) button, and run the wizard. This wizard will help guide the users to a quick installation of a WPS network. If the user is running a Microsoft Vista™ operating system, when the RT-N15 is connected to the PC, Windows Vista™ will automatically recognize the RT-N15, simplifying the setup.
EZQoS – Bandwidth-On-Demand (BOD)
With Bandwidth-on-Demand, users can easily allocate bandwidth according to their individual needs by simply clicking on the buttons, such as voice or gaming, and assign more or less bandwidth to streamline streamlines multiple network activities (FTP, Games, P2P) to work smoothly at the same time
ASUS Green Network Technology (GNT)
The ASUS GNT features embedded energy conservation through link down and cable length detection. With link down detection, the RT-N15 detects when a computer is turned off in the network, and responds accordingly by powering down that port into standby mode to reduce power used for that port.
With cable length detection, the ASUS GNT automatically allows the RT-N15 to detect the cable length and adjust the power accordingly. By comparing the cable lengths used, helping alternate power usage to save up to 70% power consumption. This helps save money on energy, and helps protect the environment without reducing performance.
