BenQ officially entered the 27” LCD monitor segment today with their Full HD 1080p M2700HD, a crossover IT/CE innovation fusing work and play into a single display. The 16:9 LCD monitor outperforms similarly-priced/-sized TVs by delivering better sight and sound via a super-high 50,000:1 DCR, 400-nit brightness, patented Senseye Human Vision Technology, and an exquisite 10-watt EmbracingSound surround sound system. A smart remote control caters to TV-style viewing, enabling the user to switch video sources, adjust audio options, and access the OSD from the couch, the bed, or other distance.

Whether for work or play or both, the M2700HD has the multi-tasking user conveniently connected to all digital devices without the hassle of unplugging, switching, and reconnecting cables. Thirteen connectors for video in, audio in, and audio out include dual HDMI 1.3 inputs for high-bandwidth and deep-color sources such as set-top boxes, gaming consoles, and Blu-ray players. Handy component, composite, and SPDIF connecters further accommodate all traditional AV devices (like VCRs, DVD players, and camcorders). The M2700HD will be available worldwide mid of December.
