BN Technology launches Rugged Mobile Computers at CEATEC JAPAN 2006

BN Technology Corporation has launched new models of rugged mobile computers that can be used under harsh conditions, extending the range of potential applications for its versatile products at CEATEC JAPAN 2006.In 2005, BN Technology launched its Microflex Series of rugged mobile computers, designed for use under extreme conditions. These models have Windows CE installed and are compliant with IP67 waterproof and dustproof standards, as well as the MIL-STD810 standard adopted by the U.S. military. The Microflex Series comes in three model variations: the CE8000 Series of touch-panel computers with a clear 7.2-inch VGA screen; the CE5000 Series, which includes a scanner and wireless LAN module; and the compact, lightweight CE3240, a handheld PC.

ceatec2.jpgIn addition to the three models in the Microflex Series, BN Technology will showcase its new CMC-3000 at CEATEC JAPAN 2006. This rugged tablet PC complies with IP54 waterproof and dustproof standards and can withstand being dropped onto concrete from a height of 1.2 meters. With a reasonable price tag, the CMC-3000 is a convenient solution for many worksites.
