Canon announces imageRUNNER Advance 4000 Series monochrome MFP


Expanding the imageRUNNER ADVANCE lineup, Canon U.S.A., today announced the new imageRUNNER Advance 4000 series, a versatile and foundational monochrome MFP for mid-volume office environments. The 4000 Series improvements from its predecessor include utilization of the ADVANCE architecture and interface, faster B&W output speeds and color scan speeds and the ability to accept a wider range of paper weights and media. The imageRUNNER Advance 4051/4045/4035/4025 models produce letter-sized black-and-white output at 51 ppm, 45 ppm, 35 ppm and 25 ppm, respectively and incorporate a100-sheet capacity scanner and auto-duplex document feeder to easily convert paper documents to digital files.

The imageRUNNER Advance 4000 Series user interface has been designed for greater simplicity and ease-of-use.These include the addition of a large, full-color 8.4″ high-resolution TFT screen with wide viewing angles and clear images. The 1200 x 1200 dpi print resolution produces fine lines and crisp text, and half-tones are set and rendered at the ideal levels.The new imageRUNNER Advance 4000 series meets the ENERGY STAR Equipment Program guidelines for energy efficiency, is RoHS compliant, and meets as many as 11 other eco label standards in 10 geographic regions.The Canon imageRUNNER Advance 4051 model is expected to be available in March .
