Cooler Master announces HAF XM – The Evolutionary Mid Tower for Enthusiasts

Cooler Master today announced what amounts to the pure essence of the HAF X packed into a mid-tower size, the HAF XM. Rising to the level of the HAF (High Air Flow) legends before it, Cooler Master HAF XM supports an unprecedented four 200mm fans (Top x 2, Front, and Side) and a 140mm rear exhaust fan. With this, HAF XM contains a virtual hurricane’s force worth of airflow within its walls that will provide even the most extreme setups with cool air in excess of their needs. HAF XM harnesses the best of both cooling worlds by offering users support for the liquid side of cooling with space for up to a 2 x 140mm fan radiator up top and a 140mm radiator in the rear.

Cooler Master HAF XM incorporates a 90 degree rotated side panel with a latched handle for the easiest access to core system components. 8+1 expansion slots offer space for multiple graphics cards setup in NVidia SLI or AMD CrossFire with accompanying sound and other add-on cards to vastly expand the capabilities of a system. Users can setup a massive HDD or SSD array with support for up to nine drives. This includes two X-Dock slots and a 2.5″ HDD/SSD mounting point on the back of the motherboard tray. A rich front I/O panel offers access to two super speed USB 3.0 ports, 2 x USB 2.0, audio in and out, and FAN LED control. By increasing overall interior space and attachment points for cables, Cooler Master HAF XM will be made available on 24th April, 2012. The side panel window version is also available.
