EIZO today announced the DuraVision FDS1721T, a highly durable touch panel monitor for routine use in factories, hospital clean rooms, and public access areas. The FDS1721T uses surface acoustic wave technology (SAW) for high visibility and exceptional durability. The screen accepts touch input from both bare and gloved hands, as well as styluses. SAW technology exhibits minimal deviation of the touch point to ensure high stability and consistent touch accuracy. Touch screen recalibration can also be carried out with minimal effort.
The FDS1721T has a touch life of a minimum of 50 million touches for long-term use and the screen’s non-scratch surface is made of reinforced glass for withstanding regular use. The EIZO FDS1721T is compatible with EIZO EcoView NET power management software which allows users to manage brightness and power settings of all monitors from one central location.
