DN-USP301 from Evergreen Corporation is a unique USB speaker, card reader &USB hub all in one.This 3 in 1 egg shaped device can be used as a USB speaker, USB hub and a card reader. When separated from the middle, you have two speakers. The speakers can be easily placed on table top without fear of them falling down. Power is drawn from the USB port and so no need to worry about AC adaptor/batteries etc.The speakers is compatible with OS Windows 2000/XP.The 5cm diameter speakers are driven by 2W×2ch amplifier with play back frequency range-180Hz~18kHz. The front two USB2.0 ports can be used to connect your MP3 player, digital camera etc.
The Compact flash, SD card, memory stick card reader is placed below the USB ports. The DN-USP301 3 in 1 from Evergreen measures 130×190mm as one piece, 130×115mm when used as stereo speakers and weighs 470g.The egg shaped device costs approximately 4,980 Yen ($42).
