Gigabyte today announced the new UD series power supply – UD1000GM，UD850GM and UD750GM (power options of 1000 watts, 850 watts and 750 watts). The key features of the three UD series power supplies are high-quality main Japanese capacitors, enhanced thermal solution, 120mm smart hydraulic bearing (HYB) fan, and six circuit protection designs. The main capacitors are made in Japan, and the durability is more than 4 times that of conventional capacitors. The enhanced thermal solution provides a heat sink that is 200% or more larger than the standard solution and optimizes the airflow.
The heat dissipation performance is increased by more than 10%, thus prolonging the service life of the components. The life of the 12cm hydraulic bearing fan is 1.4 times longer than the standard sleeve bearing. The fan will stop rotating in standby mode or when the power consumption is lower than 20%, thereby extending the service life. In addition, the UD series power supply also has OVP/OPP/SCP/UVP/OCP/OTP circuit protection designs, so that users can use it with peace of mind for a long time.
