It also uses an innovative technology which closely monitors your active apps and if it detects anything suspicious, it takes instant action.
What we liked the most about it is the fact that such a feature packed application requires a fairly low amount of processing power. Bitdefender Total Security has a very low impact on the system, which means you won’t be facing any lag or hang-ups due to the software running in the background to keep you safe from hacks, while you go through all those funny cat videos or even play Far Cry.
Now you can also monitor and control what your kids do on the internet with the new and improved Parental Controls. Bitdefender also offers a password manager where you can securely store all our passwords and credit card information, which can be from the secure vault whenever required. Bitdefender Total Security 2017 works against all threats, from viruses, worms, and Trojans, to ransomware, zero-day exploits, rootkits, and spyware. Bitdefender also provides one of the best in its class protection against the now disastrous ransomware. Bitdefender is looking out for you in ways which you cannot even think of – it now even provides a Battery Mode setting for your laptops/tablets to conserve energy when low on juice. Bitdefender has integrated secure browsing and advanced anti-fraud protection which will warn the user while visiting the websites that may try to scam them.
The only downside to this nearly perfect antivirus is the absence of an online backup feature for your files. The system scans are very thorough and perfect but might seem a little slow. Overall the protection offered by Bitdefender Total Security is best in its class and we highly recommend the use of this software.
