LG launches ultra-light-weight TabBook Duo tablet for local market

LG announced today the launch of ultra-light-weight TabBook Duo for the domestic (Korean) market. The tablet with wireless keyboard weighs a mere 792 grams and without the keyboard it weighs 530 grams only. With a single charge, the battery can run up to 11 hours (Seoul to Los Angeles flight duration). LG Electronics TabBook Duo is loaded with Windows 8.1 operating system and equipped with Intel quad-core in the 10.1-inch multi-touch IPS display. The product supports standard USB 3.0 and a micro HDMI for enhanced compatibility with other devices.

Users can use it on a tablet mode and convert it easily to a laptop mode when they work on documents. LG TabBook Duo comes with a built in elegant quick-stand on the rear. It is convenient to be used according to the desired angle without separate stand or cradle. The product is available in two pleasing colors –white and Black and is available in Korea for approximately ₩ 740,000 ($675).
