LG announced today that will release its first tablet PC through T-Mobile in the U.S. in March. Dubbed the G-Slate, LG Tablet PC will run on the Honeycomb version of Google’s Android OS and feature an 8.9-inch display, making it bigger than Samsung’s Galaxy Tab but smaller than the Apple iPad. With two CPUs the G-Slate will perform faster than existing tablet PCs, enabling users to easily enjoy full high-definition images and 3D games. It will also include a 2-megapixel camera on the front.

Before its roll-out the device will make its worldwide debut at the Mobile World Congress to be held in Barcelona from Feb. 14. It is expected to be released in Korea under the name Optimus Pad in the first half of the year.
