Korean leading discount store, Lotte Mart has released the 7-inch tablet Iconia B1 through its 91 stores throughout South Korea. The Iconia B1is manufactured by Acer. The Iconia B1 is a Wi-Fi-dedicated model with the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS. It can enlarge storage device through mini SD card slot. The Iconia B1 has an 8-GB internal storage device, which can be expanded up to 32 GB. The retail price of the Iconia B1 is estimated at 199,000 won ($181) about 30-50 percent cheaper than those of Nexus 7 and iPad Mini which have similar performance with Iconia B1.
Acer will provide one-year free warranty service. In addition, under terms of Acer’s ITW (International Travelers Warranty), the purchasers can receive after-sales service through Acer’s customer service centers in 50 countries.
