MVPen Technologies, Japan today announced theTouch8 stylus pen exclusively for Windows 8 notebooks. Touch8 stylus pen can be used with Windows8 notebooks which does not have the dedicated touch panel. Information is transmitted via Infrared and ultrasonic waves to the base unit when the stylus is pressed into the screen. The stylus pen is connected via USB and is powered by 2 SR41 button cells.
Touch8 stylus supports screen size up to 17 inches and is available in Japan for approximately 7,800 yen ($95).Calibration is required from Windows 8 control panel.
