Samsung announced the launch of a new notebook PC called Flash in Seoul, South Korea. Samsung aims to attract millennial consumers with Flash notebook. To appeal to more millennial consumers, Samsung Korea worked with Samsung’s design center in the U.K. while developing the new laptop. The new laptop from Samsung offers a distinguished design as it comes with a retro-style keyboard and a dotted pattern on the cover.
According to the press release, the most powerful feature of the new laptop is the fast internet speed that supports up to 1.7 gigabytes per second. Flash is powered by Intel’s latest wireless LAN card that supports 802.11 ac 2×2 Gigabit Wi-Fi for a faster internet speed. The laptop is optimized for KT’s GiGA WiFi network service also.
The Flash laptop has a 13.3-inch Full HD display and offers a wide 178-degree viewing angle. The laptop enables users to use the Universal Flash Storage (UFS) card, which is five times faster than a MicroSD card. To prevent security breaches, the Flash laptop also supports a fingerprint scanner and Windows Hello security features.

Each of the keycaps of Flash are curved to gives a rich, luxury impression. Three-dimensional texture of the palm rest gives a warm feeling.The Flash laptop will be sold in the United States, Brazil and China. Samsung expects to sell more than 1 million Flash laptops in these countries. The Flash laptop will come in three colors: linen white, twill charcoal and soft coral and will be available for approximately 810,000 won ($715) in Korea. Samsung expects to sell more than 1 million Flash laptops.
