Sony today announced its next generation of medical black and white printers, the UP-D898MD, UP-X898MD, UP-971AD and UP-991AD models. The new Sony printer models are designed for increased efficiency and performance with features such as built-in image capture and hybrid signal inputs. They offer several operational and ergonomic enhancements, including an enlarged LCD display panel and joystick for intuitive menu navigation. Moreover, the UP-991AD model can print on transparent blue film media, in addition to paper media.
The new printers continue Sony’s commitment to improving the workflows of medical applications, including mobile C-Arm, cardiac catheterization laboratory and ultrasound. The new medical-grade black and white compact printers from Sony can be integrated into both analog and digital medical imaging environments such as mobile C-arm, cardiac catheterization laboratory and ultrasound. Sony’s UP-D898MD, UP-X898MD, UP-971AD and UP-991AD printers are currently available in Asia Pacific.
