The passport-sized USB 2.0 portable hard drive is sleek and stylish with a mirror-like high gloss outer finish, yet it is also remarkably tough and rugged. Under its seemingly delicate case is an advanced internal hard drive suspension system that helps prevent damage caused by accidental slips or falls during travel. The useful anti-slip rubber feet provide a stable base for resting on a table or computer case. The StoreJet 25D2 is designed to automatically go into power-saving sleep mode after ten minutes of inactivity, allowing energy-savings of up to 30%.
The USB 2.0, StoreJet 25D2 is Windows 7 certified, and comes bundled with Transcend`s own StoreJet Elite software that offers intelligent backup scheduling, Internet tools and 256-bit AES encryption. Currently offered in classic black, the Transcend StoreJet 25D2 is available in four capacities: 250GB, 320GB, 500GB and 640GB. To protect against dirt and scratches, the StoreJet 25D2 comes with a stylish faux-suede travel pouch that allows users to carry it snugly and safely in their briefcase, purse, backpack or car.
