Ginichi, Japan has come out with a unique device to protect your expensive digital camera from tripping down , IEEE1394 and the USB cable being disconnected from the camera accidentally when some one steps on the cable accidentally. The tether lockII which is fixed to the tripod gives a lot of elbow to the cable and so if accidentally some one step on the cable the chance of damaging the camera is very much minimized.
The tether lockII from Ginichi, Japan measures 65×33×16mm, weighs 80g and is available from March for approximately 15,750 Yen ($130).
