LG CNS, a subsidiary of the LG Group has launched an intelligent 3D CCTV camera, Smart Vision Sensor, on March 18. Smart Vision Sensor can detect frequent patterns of human motion through its intelligent 3D motion analyzer. The intelligent CCTV camera can be used in stores to provide useful information on frequently occurring shopping behaviors. Store operators can check up on the number of visitors, the rate of return customers, highly visited parts of the store and the rate of purchases versus eye-shopping, with all of the data available through a smartphone application.
