Maki Japan today announced the tough, waterproof Geanee-AC01 full HD camcorder that can be used to a depth of 10m. The cylindrical shaped action video camera is designed to let users easily capture and share images of everyday life. By setting the camera on the included bicycle hook, users can enjoy hands-free shooting. The waterproof design enables even greater shooting freedom in situations. The camera is IPX6 grade equivalent.
Despite its compact size-40 × 96 × 45.8mm and lightweight (112g) design, the Geanee-AC01 achieves excellent image quality. Featuring a host of image-enhancing technologies, including 120 degrees viewing angle lens, 5 MP CMOS image sensor, built-in acceleration sensor, this camera captures clear, low-noise images in both bright and dim lighting situations. You can shot JPEG still images beside videos in MOV format MPEG-4 AVC/H264. Recording media is microSD / SDHC, card up to 32GB. The lithium-ion rechargeable battery can be used continuously for about 2.5 hours. Mini USB, HDMI micro terminal is also provided in the camera. Geanee-AC01 HD camcorder is available in Japan for approximately 14,800 yen ($153).
