Nikon Vision a subsidiary of Nikon today announced the release of the COOLSHOT 20i GIII Laser Rangefinder for golfers. COOLSHOT 20i GIII is Nikon’s small, lightweight model among the COOLSHOT series. While maintaining the light weight and compact size of the COOLSHOT 20i GII, the new model notifies the user that the distance to the flagstick has been measured, by means of a brief vibration (LOCKED ON QUAKE function).
When measuring overlapping subjects, the distance to the closest subject is displayed with a simultaneous brief vibration. For example, on a golf course, tactile confirmation informs you that the distance to the flagstick has been measured even with trees in the background. ID (incline/decline) Technology displays a guide distance showing how far you should hit the ball on an uphill/downhill course.
The COOLSHOT 20i GIII employs two measurement display modes: a golf mode (slope-adjusted distance and actual distance) and an actual distance mode. Switching modes is simple, with a single press of a mode button. It is highly convenient that you can use this product for practice with the golf mode and for official golf competitions using actual distance mode.
Nikon COOLSHOT 20i GIII is available in two colors-white model for Asia, Oceania, and the Middle East, and a grey model is available in North America and Europe. The rainproof compact COOLSHOT 20i GIII weighs 130g and has measurement range: 5-730m/6-800 yd.
