The latest Xacti digital movie camera – the DMX-CG9 from Sanyo offers simple operation and comfortable use for beginners, 9.1-Megapixel digital still images, high resolution photos, and longer recording time. The new Ergonomic Design of Sanyo Xacti DMX-CG9 allows level filming when used with a tripod while the rounded design fits more comfortably in the hand .Also the buttons for operation have been enlarged for easy shooting.
The newly developed high power 5X optical lens (35mm equiv.: f=38 to 190mm) and the CMOS sensor allows movies to be recorded and played back at a smooth rate of 60 fps. You can take still images simultaneously during movie recording, without stopping or pausing the movie. The large 2.5 inch, TFT color LCD display (230,000 pixels) with 7-level brightness is a treat for the eyes.
Sanyo Xacti DMX-CG9 SD with 40 MB built in memory uses SDHC memory card (up to 32 GB) for recording. The Xacti DMX-CG9 SD with built in stereo microphone and monaural (L+Rch mixed output) speaker is powered by DB-L20 Lithium-ion battery measures 73.8x 101.0 x 38.6 mm and weigh approximately 199g (including battery and SD card). Sanyo Xacti movie camera will be available in Black/White /Silver/Pink colors from April 28, 2008.
