Y-E Data Inc.Japan will release in May a self-service terminal enabling customers to print digital photographs in stores. The YD-8G20 will be available in 4 different colors and different configuration. Basic system consists of a CPU, card reader, TFT monitor and direct thermal printer. The CPU specification varies from a Intel Celeron 2.5GHz ~ Pentium4 2.8GHz, DDR 256Mbyte up to 1GByte, 40Gbyte,7200rpm up to (3.5inch,2.5inch HDD), DVD-ROM with 15” TFT screen. The YD-8G20 comes with a built-in high-performance commercial card reader for reading various types of memory cards used in digital cameras and mobile phones, such as SD and miniSD cards and xD-Picture Cards.
Attaching an adapter can make possible reading of microSD cards, used in the latest mobile phones. The Y-E Data YD-8G20 measures 337mm x 468mm x 288mm and weighs 16 kg. Operating voltage range is 100V-240V.
