Seiko today announced the launch of two exquisite models of the Disney 100 Limited Edition as part of their renowned Grand Seiko collection, in celebration of Disney’s 100th anniversary. Limited to just 100 pieces each, these mechanical wristwatches are truly exceptional timepieces. The Disney 100 Limited Edition models are based on two iconic Grand Seiko designs and feature a special design element with a classic-style Mickey Mouse illustration on the back cover. Each model boasts a different dial color and a unique Mickey Mouse pattern, adding to their individual charm.

The pattern on the back cover is delicately applied to the see-through sapphire glass, and the stainless steel parts are engraved with letters indicating their limited edition status. The orientation of the back cover may vary from the product images due to manufacturing reasons.

The first model, Grand Seiko Disney 100 Limited Edition SLGH023, is based on the SLGH005 design. It showcases a stunning white dial with bold patterns and shadows that depict a white birch forest. Equipped with a high-vibration mechanical movement, this limited edition model is exclusively available at the Grand Seiko Flagship Boutique Ginza. The case and bracelet are crafted from stainless steel, and the watch features a box-shaped sapphire glass with an anti-reflective coating on the inside. With a water resistance of up to 10 ATM, it is suitable for daily life. The case measures 40mm in diameter and 11.7mm in thickness.

The second model, Grand Seiko Disney 100 Limited Edition SLGH025, is based on the SLGH011 design, which offers a refreshing green color variation of the “SLGH005” model. This limited edition timepiece can be exclusively purchased from the Grand Seiko Boutique Online. It houses a mechanical movement with a self-winding “caliber 9SA5. With an average daily difference of +5 to -3 seconds and a power reserve of approximately 80 hours, this watch exemplifies precision and reliability. It operates at a frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour and consists of 47 jewels.

The pre-order period for these limited edition watches is from June 23rd to August 27th, with the release date set for after the end of December. Priced at 1,430,000 yen ($9987), these watches are a testament to Seiko’s commitment to craftsmanship and attention to detail.
