Street Sweeper Electric vehicles to clean Sejong city in South Korea

Sejong (officially Sejong Special Autonomous City and formerly known as Yeongi County is South Korea’s de facto administrative capital city), introduced a new set of EV street sweepers for the city. The new EV EV street sweepers developed by RETECH will be used for cleaning its streets.

Each unit is expected to save 25 million won ($21780) in maintenance costs, including fuel, compared to conventional diesel models. Four sweepers will be allocated across the city, which officials expect will boost the efficiency of keeping the city’s streets clean, as well as reduce fine dust particles in the atmosphere.
