Osram will present the brightest multi-chip LED for the entertainment sector- S32 for the first time at Prolight + Sound 2015. From a technological point of view, S32 is based on LED chips arranged close to one another. This arrangement provides extremely high luminance of 100 cd/mm², the brightness of an illuminated area. The Osram multi-chip LED S32 has a high luminous flux of up to 15,000 lumen, a lifetime of up to 20,000 hours and integrated temperature-controlled monitoring (NTC).
In addition to entertainment lighting, S32 suits industrial and architectural applications, as well as searchlights. At Osram’s Prolight + Sound booth, it will be presented in a spotlight prototype.
