Casio announces New Mercury-Free Projector XJ-H2650 with 20,000-Hour Light Source

Casio announced today that it plans to release a new projector, the XJ-H2650, in July of this year. The XJ-H2650 equipped with an original mercury-free light source with a roughly 20,000-hour lifespan, delivers WXGA (1280 x 800 dot) high-brightness projection of 3,500 ANSI lumens. The XJ-H2650 projector achieves high brightness projection of 3,500 ANSI lumens using a mercury-free light source by projecting three colors through a DLPchip: red emitted by a high-lumen red LED, green converted from blue laser light with a phosphor, and blue emitted by a high-lumen blue LED.

The Casio XJ-H2650 is a 3,500 ANSI lumens WXGA Real model that is well-suited to bigger venues such as medium-size halls and to bright environments such as retail stores and comes fully equipped for a wide variety of uses.
