Oki has started shipment of samples of its video decoder LSI ML86V7665 that is compliant with three of the worlds video signal standards, NTSC, PAL and SECAM. The OKI ML86V7665 is compliant with three pixel frequencies: ITU-R BT.601 standard (13.5MHz), NTSC square pixel (12.272727MHz) and PAL square pixel (14.75MHz). The package size of the new ML86V7665 is reduced by 50% from conventional models. Capable of operation over a wide range of temperatures (-40°C to +85°C), the LSI can be used not only for TV systems but also for security and automotive systems.
By incorporating Oki,s wealth of experience in automotive TV systems in this device, the ML86V7665 enables excellent synchronism stability, even when operated in bad signal environments such as with a weak electrical signal. OKI plans volume shipment from December, 2007.
