OSD Displays(Taiwan) announced the addition of a 5.7-inch 640xRGBx480 (VGA) TFT LCD with white LED backlight to its line-up. The OSD057VA01CW supports up to 18-bit (262k) color and allows simple image rotation via digital user inputs. The display also features an onboard white LED backlight driver and DC-DC power supply for the source and gate drivers. The new panel is intended for the industrial control and mobile computing market, but it is also well suited for many other applications that require a high-quality TFT LCD display.
Brightness of the panel is rated at 220cd/m2, with a contrast ratio of 300:1.The overall dimensions are 127×98.43×6.6mm. The display active area is 116.16×87.12mm. The OSD057VA01CW is fully Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) compliant and is currently in mass production.
