Panasonic 10.1-inch VIERA waterproof photo frame with built in LAN / wireless supports gesture control


Panasonic 10.1-inch VIERA portable digital photo frame SV-ME5000 comes with built in wireless LAN function. The IPX6/IPX7 grade waterproof photo frame can be used in bath room, kitchen etc. The frame with gesture control feature allows controlling volume by sliding your hand at a distance of 5cm-10 cm from the Photo frame. Gesture control is possible for switching cooking recipe pages as well as cooking channels. It supports VIERA connect and is possible to enjoy internet, You Tube etc. In addition, sensors can be connected with intercom and camera. Other features include-a built-in digital portable TV / Seg terrestrial tuner, 1,024×600 pixel display and automatic transmission switching.
The Panasonic digital photo frame SV-ME5000 with built in 4 way antenna has an external antenna input also. The frame does not support Data broadcasting. The built-battery design allows for use of approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes. The charging time is approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes. Eco mode charging is also possible. The built in card slot supports video playback etc. The Panasonic SV-ME5000 comes with built in stereo speakers with 800mwx2ch output. The frame measures 301 × 23.4 × 206.7mm and weigh 1,275 g. Panasonic 10.1-inch VIERA portable digital photo frame SV-ME5000 will be available in Japan on March 15th in two colors-whie/red for approximately 53,000 yen ($680).
