Sharp Corporation will introduce five new full-spec HD AQUOS LCD TV models in 65V-, 57V-, 52V-, 46V-, and 42V-inch screen sizes in Japan from March 10, 2007. The Sharp 5 New Beautiful Models in the AQUOS R Series features double-speed Advanced Super View LCD panels that display even fast-moving images smoothly and clearly. The new R Series represents new flagship models that are the most beautiful AQUOS ever in terms of picture quality and design. These new AQUOS boast a high contrast ratio of 3,000:1 (living room contrast is 1300:1), which gives deep blacks and powerful, realistic images. The new models are also the industries thinnest and lightest (the 52V-inch model is just 8.5cm thick) and sport a luxurious, shiny piano black for the frame. This makes them a stylish addition to the home, either wall mounted or placed against the wall with the flush-to-wall stand.
The bottom-speaker design Sharp R Series is also compatible with the AQUOS Fami-link, a setup that combines the AQUOS LCD TV with AQUOS Blu-ray Disc Player, AQUOS HD Recorder, and AQUOS Audio System means easy, user-friendly operation for the home.
