TDK develops World’s First Thin-film Common Mode Filter for DisplayPort
TDK has developed a wide-band thin-film common mode filter for EMI suppression on DisplayPort interfaces. The TDK filter TCM1210U-500-2P is designed specifically to suppress noise on DisplayPort connections, a new standard for signal transmission between computers or audiovisual equipment and display monitors at speeds that exceed even HDMI (2.25 Gbit/s). The filter offers effective noise control without degrading the outstanding transmission characteristics of high-speed differential transmission line signals.
TDK filter for EMI suppression measures 1.25 mm x 1.0 mm x 0.6 mm and will be available from August.
