Samsung sold over 50,000 of its latest Galaxy S3 LTE smartphones on the launch day of the handset in South Korea. This is a record for domestic smartphone sale in Korea. The sales figure is more than twice the sales of its predecessor, the Galaxy S2 (24,000 units), and five times the sales of the Galaxy S (10,000 units).
Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE phone has gone mainly to people who had pre-ordered it, and sales will grow even more now it is available to all consumers. The Galaxy S3 LTE comes with integrated LTE connectivity, Samsung’s quad-core 1.4GHz Exynos 4 Quad processor and 2GB of RAM.
