Xiaomi today unveiled its 4G variant of the Redmi Note. Xiaomi has replaced the the MediaTek MT6592 octa-core 1.7GHz processor with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core 1.6GHz processor. Other features include 2 GB RAM, 8GB flash memory and a large 5.5 inches display. Xiami 4G variant of the Redmi Note supports the latest mobile 4G TDD- LTE network. With 4G, the download speed is very fast and is a pleasure to watch online videos more smoothly, browse the web fast.
Equipped with Adreno 305 graphics processor, playing large 3D games or HD videos on the crisp, sharp 5.5 inches IPS screen is out of this world. Thanks to GFF technology, the distance between the surface of the glass and the screen is very minimal. This makes the images more realistic while reducing the glare.
4G variant of the Redmi Note comes with a 28mm wide angle 13 million pixel back-illuminated camera with large F2.2 aperture to let more light into the camera. Also there is a 5 million pixels front camera.
All above photos are taken with the new Redmi Note and are untouched except cutting and scaling. The colors are so rich and superb, we are sure Apple and Samsung will have to come with a more super tech camera to compete with this Chinese product.

The Redmi Note 4G is priced at 999 yuan (approximately S$200) and is available for pre-order in China. It will go on sale in China next Tuesday, August 12.
