JVC today announced the launch of two new docking stations UX-VJ5 and UX-VJ3 for dual play of iPhone/ iPad and iPod Touch. The JVC docking stations are the industry’s first with two docks. The docking stations with 15Wx2ch, also features FM/AM tuner. While micro system UX-VJ5 comes in six colors-– pink, green, white, black, brown and violet, model UX-VJ3 is available in White color only. Both the JVC docking stations will be available in Japan from mid-July for approximately 30,000 yen ($370) for UX-VJ5 and 26,000 yen ($320) for UX-VJ3. The JVC UX-VJ5 comes with a UX-CD player and an USB input. It can play MP3/WMA files from the USB port as well can record MP3 CD.
Other common features include: PC input, mini stereo audio input, headphone output and composite video output. The players with built in AM/FM tuner and full range bass reflex speakers consume 30W (0.5W standby) power and measures 290 × 155 × 186.5mm and weighs about 1.5kg (UX-VJ5) and1.4kg (UX-VJ3).
