Victor Corporation Japan has launched a new series of audio player “alneo” with direct MP3 (96~160kbps bit rate) sound recording. The Victor XA-S208 features 2GB of memory and the XA-S108 features 1GB of storage. Both the players feature a 4 line OLED display, 6.5mW×2ch output and 18bit DAC for clear sound play back. Besides pre-set equalizer you have custom 5 band equalizer. The strap type neodymium magnesium ear phone improves sound quality to a great extent.
The Victor “alneo” player measures 77×32×18mm weigh 37g with lithium ion battery and come in a variety of eye catching colors. The 1GB model XA-S108 will be available for approximately 15,000 Yen ($125) and 2GB XA-S208 for 19,000 Yen ($160). Both models will be available in Japan from October this year.
