Canon U.S.A., today announced the availability of the imageFORMULA CR-180II Check Transport device. The Canon CR-180II features duplex scanning speeds of up to 180 checks per minute, a high-capacity 200-document auto feeder, and two output pockets, making it one of the fastest check transports available and ideal for high-volume environments. Using Infrared Double-Feed Detection, the CR-180II easily and reliably handles a wide variety of document types, including payment or deposit slips, carrier envelopes, as well as document batches of mixed dimensions and thicknesses. It has an output resolution of up to 240 dots-per-inch (dpi), including a new 120 dpi grayscale mode.
The Canon CR-180II is bundled with Silver Bullet Image Quality Analysis (IQA) software, which automatically verifies that check image quality is in accordance with Check 21 requirements, and includes a new Black Border Removal function which allows for precise page capture. The Canon CR-180II check transport is available at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $3,295.
