Casio unveils new Baby-G for women runners equipped with Lap/Split-time Functions and auto EL light
Casio today announced the release of the BG-6903, a new addition to the popular Baby-G line of shock-resistant watches for women. The new shock- and water-resistant BG-6903 designed for fashionable women who enjoy running, is based on the active image of the Baby-G series. As part of its visual design, an arrow motif with a Y-frame at the tail has been positioned across the center of the face in order to convey the speed of running. While providing a design accent, it also divides the face into upper and lower segments, making it easy for the wearer to read the lap time clearly even while running vigorously.
The lap/split-time functions can be used to regulate pace while running, and up to 60 lap times can be stored in the memory. The functions are also useful for recording time during races and training. For those that run at night, the new watch is also equipped with an auto EL light that automatically illuminates just with a tilt of the wrist. The Casio BG-6903comes in three colors designed for fashionable women who enjoy running.
