The electronic walking treadmill—the Electric Walker 3010 from Japanese manufacturer Alinco, comes with voice guidance. An electronic voice tells exercisers if they are pushing themselves too hard or not enough, and announces changes to speed and incline. Heart rate is measured by gripping a pulse sensor on the unit’s handle. Various settings for incline are also included. The electronic walking treadmill—the Electric Walker 3010 can also be folded for storage. The Electric Walker 3010 is expected to cost approximately 50,000 yen ($592) in Japan.
