NEC iPASOLINK 250 and iPASOLINK 650- Next-Generation in Flexible Backhaul Solutions

nec_microwave_radio.jpgNEC Corporation of America today announced the introduction of iPASOLINK 250 and iPASOLINK 650 Digital Microwave Radio, further enabling network operators to effectively and cost-efficiently migrate from full time division multiplexing (TDM) to full packet backhaul while non-disruptively maintaining levels of service. NEC iPASOLINK 250, a two-way nodal radio that is feature optimized for extension of reach and capacity, seamlessly delivers access to end sites or operates as a node in a network employing ring network topology, while iPASOLINK 650, capable of six-way nodal operation, adaptively supports Multi Service Provisioning and Packet Optical Transport Platform capabilities over radio and fiber optic mediums.

Supported by the iPASONET Network Management System, NECiPASOLINK 250 and NEC iPASOLINK 650 are able to provide end-to-end point-and-click bandwidth management and provisioning for both Ethernet and TDM services. NEC will demonstrate iPASOLINK at CTIA in Orlando Florida, Booth 1034, from March 22 through March 24, 2011.
