Seiko to release new models in the Onitsuka Tiger Watch Collection

Seiko will release square chronograph and basic models in its Onitsuka Tiger watch collection in early August. Adopting the retro design of Japan-made sport watches in the late 1960s and 1970s, Onitsuka Tiger watches draw their inspiration from the brand heritage and fashionable appeal of Onitsuka Tiger. Each new model is characterized by a square case with strong presence and classical ladder-type bracelet. These new models will be released worldwide simultaneously in early August. In Japan, they will be sold at stores directly managed by Onitsuka Tiger, as well as at watch shops and elsewhere.

On the rear case, Onitsuka Tiger’s logo of a tiger is engraved – symbolizing the company’s imaginative vision inspired by history. The sporty chronograph model features the traditional colors of the long-selling Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 shoes. The dial of the three-hand basic model adopts the gradation of colors often seen in watches in the 1970’s.
