Canon Japan announced the launch of a pocket-sized, lightweight mobile projector-C5. The mobile projector will be available in Japan from next month for approximately 29,800 yen ($240).The Canon Mini Projector C-5 is suitable for presentations, performing group meeting etc. The 50lm (lumens) bright LED light source has a life span of approximately 10,000 hours. This translates to 5 years of maintenance free use if used continuously for 5 hours daily.
The Canon Mini Projector C-5 comes with a built-in miniHDMI terminal ((MHL compatible) and can project video and audio from MHL-enabled PCs, smartphones, and tablets. The C-5 has a resolution of 640×480 pixels, a brightness of 50 Lumen, and a contrast rate of 800:1. With minimal adjustment options, the built-in battery can be charged via supplied AC adapter. Once fully charged, it can be used continuously for 4 hours.
