Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation has launched a new body variant for its world’s most fuel-efficient Canter Eco Hybrid light-duty truck in Japan. The latest Canter Eco Hybrid is the most economical, environmentally friendly and commercially viable vehicles on the market which brings superb benefit to customers in terms of total cost of ownership. Incorporating world’s first innovation, a combination of a dual-clutch transmission, Duonic with a hybrid motor, the Canter Eco Hybrid achieves world-champion fuel efficiency, making it the first hybrid truck to pay off economically.
The hybrid truck now with a shorter and narrower body variant brings optimized solution for customers in Japan by reduced annual vehicle inspection and vehicle insurance fees, further supporting customers and their businesses in terms of overall Total Cost of Ownership. The hybrid truck is now available at Mitsubishi Fuso dealerships and regional sales centers across Japan.
